My Story

 

I became a freelance writer and designer after working for my family’s small, local business for over 7 years. During that time, while I was earning a Professional Writing degree from Purdue University, I realized that small business owners face a lot of hurdles when facing the concept of "business development". Most people have amazing ideas, but don't know how to get from an idea to making profit. And that, my friends, is where my skills, experience, interests, values, and love for learning come in handy to my clients.

I believe there is an art to starting and improving a business - from building a brand, writing copy for your marketing materials, establishing policies and procedures, and simply presenting your products and services in an authentic, professional style. That's the kind of art I want to help you create.

And yes, my real name is Hope Lincoln. My mother chose this name because she wanted me to embody the lightness of “hope” and the integrity of Abraham Lincoln. It’s a lot to live up to, but I’m up for the challenge to create a life worthy of my name.
